His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr Stavros Malas, will addreess the Symposium on Sunday 2.10.2011 at 7:00 p.m.
For the past twenty five years, this scientific event has served as a biennial opportunity for researchers and management executives to interact, exchange views and philosophies, preview cutting edge technologies in Drug Discovery and get a glimpse of things to come. The format is the traditional Gordon-style enhanced by the historical ambiance of Cyprus.
The place of the conference has been chosen to a seaside five-starHotel in Limassol, Cyprus. The participants will have the opportunity to enjoy swimming in the warm and sandy sea of Cyprus and combine science with relaxation.
In addition, the Gala dinner is planned at the mountainous part of Cyprus where the participants can enjoy the traditional foods and beverages of Cyprus. Before the dinner a visit to the picturesque Vasa Winery is planned where you will have the pleasure to taste the unique wine varieties of Xynisteri and Maratheftiko.
A trip in the middle of the conference is planned where the unique worldwide Roman Mosaics in Pafos will be visited. Also the trip will cover visits in the ancient Greco-Roman theatre of Kourion, goddess of love Aphrodite’s place of birth Petra of Romios and Colossi Castle.
This conference has a twenty-five year history of successfully bringing together world-renowned scientists to discuss the most recent advances and emerging technologies in the field of drug discovery. The format of the conference encourages casual and productive interactions among participants, which are enhanced by the seaside locale and the island’s natural beauty.
